This journey is specially designed to unveil all the natural beauty Ubud has to offer. We won’t tour the downtown but rather its hinterland. You’ll learn Subak or traditional water management system at the well-known Tegalalang rice field. Your nature adventure continues to an expansive plantation where you get a rare chance to taste the world’s most unique Luwak coffee.


Ubud is just our first destination and we still have more to explore. Tampaksiring is a neighboring area of Ubud that houses three popular temples not to skip. You’ll go some trekking to get to those temples especially the Elephant Cave and Pura Gunung Kawi. Both are hidden on a mountain slope with the second is located deep in completely forested valley.


But a relaxation follows after the trekking. We’ll take you to Pura Tirta Empul with huge pool where you can soak in holly water. Balinese spa is quiet famous worldwide besides its nature wonders. In fact, you’ll enjoy this special treatment in Ubud, one of best spa destination on the island. Feel the mountain breeze while enjoying the massage delivered by professional masseur.


As the mother temple of Bali, Pura Besakih is something must see on the island. This temple is always full of pilgrimage doing daily prayer which means you have limitless chances to see religious ceremonies here. Mount Agung just above Besakih is the holiest volcano in Bali that adds to the temple’s sacred appeal.


More leisure yet insightful journey is also on our list. We are taking you to Penglipuran, a beautiful traditional Bali village free of motorized vehicles. Day 01: Arrival in Bali – Ubud Art Tour – Monkey Forest (L/D)

  • Our guide will meet and greet you at Denpasar airport
  • Let’s now go for Bali art tour with Batubulan village as the first destination
  • Batubulan is the best destination to see authentic Balinese statue making process which are carved from stones.
  • Walk around and maybe you are interested in buying one statue of two.
  • Continue to neighboring Celuk village to meet Bali’s most skillful gold and silversmiths.
  • You may see them work before shopping their unique bling bling.
  • Lunch is served at nearby local restaurant.
  • Drop by Mas village, the center of Balinese wood carving
  • Art galleries line the road, showcasing awesome wooden sculptures from behind glass wall
  • Visit one of the workshops there to learn the carving process
  • We’ll make a last stop at Ubud Monkey forest
  • Meet the playful monkeys as you walk along the jungle path leading to Dalem Agung temple
  • You can wander around the outer space but the inner shrine is only for Hindu people
  • Transfer to Ubud for hotel check in

Day 02 : Ubud Eco Walk - Besakih (B,L,D)

  • Finish your breakfast as we’ll leave hotel early in the morning
  • It’s time for you to explore Ubud countryside to appreciate its unspoiled nature
  • Driving up a hill, we’ll arrive at Tegalalang rice fields, another impressive Balinese rice terraces stretching across Ubud mountain slope
  • Trek up the footpath and learn how the traditional Subak water management works
  • Fancy of planting the rice? Locals farmer there will happily teach you to do so
  • Next is Bali Paulina, an organic plantation of coffee, tea and cocoa
  • Our guide will take you tour the field so you can learn how Balinese grow their crops
  • Everyone will have a chance to sample different kinds of coffee here including the unique, special Luwak coffee
  • Get back to car and let’s drive east to visit Mount Batur area
  • We have reserved a table for you to enjoy lunch while viewing Mount Batur and its crescent shaped lake
  • Proceed to Pura Besakih, the mother temple of Bali
  • There are more than fifteen temple complex inside Besakih that will surely keep you exciting
  • Located on the slope of mount Agung, Besakih enjoys picturesque panorama as the backdrop
  • Drive back to your hotel at Ubud

Day 03 : Elephant Cave – Gunung Kawi Temple – Tirta Empul Temple – Balinese Spa – Balinese Traditional Dance (B,L,D)

  • Let’s have breakfast first before you start today’s adventure
  • We’ll explore all the temple in Tampaksiring area today with the Elephant Cave temple as the first stopover
  • You’ll need a soft trek down a forested area before you can enjoy the temple relic filled yard with holly bathing pools at the center
  • View the elephant-shaped wall carving leading to a meditation cave where you will sure to feel completely sacred atmosphere
  • We’ll do another trekking for the next destination, Gunung Kawi temple
  • Located at the bottom of forested river valley, getting to the temple is a bit harder but features better panorama as well
  • Once you enter the gateway, absorb the magnificence of the temple with its fine ancient rock-cut shrines
  • Get back to the car and let’s have lunch at local restaurant
  • We’re then visiting Tirta Empul temple where you can plunge yourself into a huge bathing pool filled with holy mountain spring
  • Watch locals pray in the water while enjoying the relaxing bath amid lush jungle
  • After a long tiring journey, we have arrange a spa for you in Ubud
  • The spa take approximately 1 hour
  • Another treat is waiting at the end of our today’s trip.
  • We’ll take you to a restaurant around Ubud for dinner while being treated to beautiful Balinese traditional dance
  • As the dance finish, we’ll take you back hotel to take a rest

Day 04 : Penglipuran Village – Kehen Temple – Kertha Gosa – Next Destination (B)

  • It’s time to check out but enjoy your breakfast before leaving
  • We’ll visit Balinese traditional village today at Penglipuran
  • Everything is well-maintained here. The village roads are clean and motorized vehicle are not allowed to come in.
  • All houses have traditional architecture with huge temple like gates. The people are also very friendly and will be happy to tell you about communal life of the village
  • Explore all the corner and visit the many temples which are always full of praying locals
  • Several minute drive south, we’ll arrive at Kehen temple
  • This temple is hidden between local plantations with mountain and hills as the background
  • Kehen is second most important temple in Bali after Besakih temple
  • Our last destination is Kertha Gosa, an ancient court of law of Klungkung kingdom
  • This landmark sits in the middle of a pond with Balinese statue adorning its small bridge
  • Look up at the ceiling and you’ll find an interesting highlight of this site
  • Up there, an epic Hindu story from Mahabharata is painted all over the ceiling
  • In the afternoon, we’ll take you to airport or your next destination (hotel at Seminyak/Sanur/Kuta/Jimbaran)
