Day 1: Manado City/Airport – Tangkoko Day Tour (L,D)

  • Our tour representatives will meet and greet you at the airport on your arrival
  • Let’s just begin the thrill. You’ll drive to Tangkoko Nature Reserve right away from the airport
  • Lunch is served en route to the park
  • Tangkoko is one of the best national parks in Indonesia with dozens of endemic animals call it home including tarsius (the tinniest monkey in the world), the black crested macaques and couscous
  • You’ll embark on real adventure in the real jungle. So, get ready and let’s begin the trekking. An experienced ranger will guide and take you to certain spots where you can see herds of the animals frequently gather
  • Colorful Celebes hornbill is another exotic species you can easily find there at the forest. At the end of the day, you are sure to go home with unforgettable amazing wildlife experience
  • Before leaving, you’ll make a short stop at the park homestay for dinner
  • Afterwhich you’ll transfer to Tomohon city for overnight stay

Day 2: Minahasa Highland Tour (B,L,D)

  • Having breakfast at the resort before leaving for the second day tour
  • Today, you’ll explore Minahasa island which is famous for its nice mix of natural attractions and traditional culture. From the hotel, our driver will take you to Pagoda tower at Ekayana Chinese temple, arguably the most impressive one in Manado
  • Though this is a Chinese temple, you’ll find an Indian god statue inside the temple which adds to its uniqueness. While on the yard, there is a fortune pond adorned with two expressive dragon statues. With green hills on the background, the bright red pagoda complex stands out even from a distant
  • Traditional market is always interesting to visit. So, there is also a short tour around traditional food and flower market before you head for Woloan, the village of  Minahasan wooden houses
  • The village will greet you with lining in-process traditional houses. Go further to the village and you’ll get a chance to get a closer look at the interior of the houses
  • Later in the afternoon, you’ll be treated to a relaxing lunch above Lake Tondano, the biggest lake in Manado. While, tucking into the tasty meal, you can also enjoy the cool breeze and beautiful surrounding hills
  • After that, you will visit pottery making industry in Pulutan village and bentenan weaving workshop to see a live weaving process
  • As the sky gets dark, our driver will take you back hotel for dinner and rest

Day 3: Mahawu Volcano Tour (B,L,D)

  • Enjoy delicious breakfast at the hotel
  • Prepare your stamina, because we are heading to Mount Mahawu for a fun hiking
  • Mahawu is a non active volcano with the height of 1311 meter. It’s most famous for its crater that still produces fumes and occasional geysers
  • On the way to to the rim, limitless view of cabbage and lettuce fields will make you stay excited. And once you reach the top, enjoy the crater as well as a vast panorama over hilly Tomohon city
  • In clear days, you’ll even be able to see amazing Bunaken National Park, Manado Tua islands, and Manado Bay
  • Trekking Mount Mahawu must be draining your energy, thus we will drive to Lake Linow to have lunch in a cafe right on the lake edge
  • Don’t rush, you have plenty of time to stroll around the lake or simply lazing on the benches by the lake after lunch. This is surely a nice treat after a tiring hiking
  • Shortly after sunset, we’ll take you back hotel. Enjoy your dinner at the hotel before taking a rest

Day 4: Manado Airport/Next Destination (B)

  • You will have breakfast at the resort before check out
  • After that, our tour representative will drive you to the airport to catch your flight or to your next destination
