Yes, you can expect jumping monkeys, playful monkeys around the area. In fact the area is home to approximately 400 Long Tail Monkeys. Walk along Tegalang Rice field, enjoy beautiful views of rice field landscape. Hear the birds chirp, while paddies rustle against each other.


Witness rice farmers in this area irrigate the rice field still using traditional system called Subak. In this area you will also visit a plantation and get to taste natural riches of Bali such as coffee, tea, organic spices, pure cocoa and last but not least, the world-renowned Luwak Coffee straight from the plantation. Spend the night at a beautiful eco resort at Candi Dasa. This spot is so beautiful, many tourists extend their stay for another day. There is a pool at the center of Candi Dasa where you will enjoy the beautiful view of Lombok Strait. Not enough? It is believed that people came to settle in Bali during the Hindu prehistoric time. In Tenganan Village, the residents hold a very unique way of life, believed to be a preservation of those first settlers’ way of life. Day 01 : Ubud Exploration (L,D)

  • Our trip begins with a short stop at Batubulan and see the famous Barong and Kris dance.
  • Next, we will be visiting Ubud Art and Culture Village, located at the center of Bali.
  • After lunch, we will continue our sightseeing to Ubud Monkey Forest which is a reserved area where approximately 400 Long Tail Monkeys live and play around the area. There’s also a temple inside this area.
  • We will check in at your hotel in Ubud. The rest of the day is a free time for your own leisure.

Day 02 : Ubud Eco Walking - Tampak Siring (B,L)

  • We will leave Ubud village in the morning and drive through the countryside of Ubud.
  • Our destination is Bali Pulina, a hidden organic plantation where we learn how Balinese grow coffee, tea, pure cocoa.
  • And yes, you will be given the opportunity to try out these organic produce.
  • Sample different coffee, tea, pure cocoa and organic spices.
  • Sip your drinks and enjoy the peaceful, calming view of beautiful landscape of rice fields. This area also have the most unique coffee in the world called Luwak Coffee.
  • Our next stop is Our destination is Tegalang Rice field – the most visited rice field in Bali.
  • Enjoy your eco walking and absorb the beautiful landscape this area has to offer.
  • It is designed beautifully with exquisite hollowing rice field, located precisely on the hill bank.
  • Witness local farmers plant their rice with traditional irrigation system called Subak.
  • Your lunch will be served in the local restaurant which overlooks Tegalang Rice field.
  • Your hike will continue to Gunung Kawi – an 11th century temple located among rice paddies in the thick jungle of Tampaksiring.
  • To get there you will need to conquer some 270 steps, but it’s a special place well worth the effort. The huge shrines are carved into the cliffs at both sides of Pakerisan River connected by a stone bridge.
  • Your eco walk trip will soon finish as we continue to a nearby village – Tirta Empul.
  • This temple is famous for its sacred spring water. All Balinese bathe in this holy water at least once a year for a ritual cleaning dedicated to Vishnu.
  • We will drive back at our hotel in Ubud.

Day 03 : Mt. Batur Sunrise Trekking - White Water Rafting (B,L)

  • Early in the morning, we are going to trek to the summit of volcano Batur.
  • Our starting point is Jati Temple of Toyabungkah. Travel time up to the caldera is approximately 2 – 3 hours.
  • Up at the caldera, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of sunrise on Batur caldera.
  • There will be a unique breakfast waiting. You will be served tea and boiled egg that was cooked using the volcanic steam of Batur mountain.
  • Explore around the crater for a while and begin our descend to the village.


  • We then be heading to Toya Bungkah Hot spring located on the shore of Lake Batur. There will be a swimming pool where you can relax, take it easy and soak in the view and energy of the nature around you.
  • After that we will head to Ayung River and enjoy an adventure of White water rafting in Telaga Waja / Ayung River.
  • This rafting activity is classified grade 2-3 by the international rafting standard – definitely safe for beginners.
  • The rafting adventure will take 2-3 hours. While rafting, you will enjoy views of wonderful waterfalls and landscapes.
  • We will have lunch and further explore Ubud and the surrounding area.
  • Not be missed is our next destination in Ubud. It is called Peliatan Palace – a building with traditional Balinese architecture, and ARMA Museum, which will give you good insight in Balinese art and culture.
  • Dinner will be served at local Balinese Restaurant as option.

Day 04 : Besakih - Candidasa (B,L)

  • Breakfast at the hotel and check out
  • We will check out from the hotel and proceed to the east coast of Bali.
  • We will be passing beautiful rural paddy field in the mountain slope between Mt. Batur and Mt. Agung.
  • We then reach our destination which is temple of Besakih, the biggest Hindu temple in Bali.
  • The temple is built believed to be the symbolic nature of the world balance. It is made up of 23 extensive complex separate but related temples. It is definitely a wonder how such temple is built many centuries ago.
  • Our trip continues through scenic roads at the countryside village of Sidemen.
  • After a short while, we arrive at Tirta Gangga which means water of the Ganges’. This is another sacred water place that was built in early twentieth century by the last king of Karangasem.
  • The place boasts many decorative ponds and fountains, lush plant life and natural bathing pools.
  • We depart Tirta Gangga and will reach Candi Dasa beach by late afternoon. We will spend overnight at the beautiful eco resort in Candi Dasa.

Day 05 : East Coast Exploring - Tengganan Baliaga Village (B,L)

  • Free time is given for you to enjoy the atmosphere of Candi Dasa beach.
  • Discover a pool the center of Candi Dasa. It is wide enough and has beautiful view of the Lombok Strait.
  • Enjoy a walk along beautiful black sand along the coast of Candi Dasa beach.
  • You have the option to add 1 night longer in Candi Dasa beach.

  • Otherwise, we will be continuing our trip to other interesting places in east coast of Bali.
  • We will next explore Tenganan Village, one of the oldest Balinese Traditional Village.
  • This is a special area located in Karangasem Regency where you can find three complexes in one place. There’s residential complex, plantation, and a rice field complex.
  • This village has become a much referred place by cultural literature science of Tenganan Pegringsingan – a very famous destination in the island.
  • One of the reason could be this is one of the few places where we can still witness the community life of Bali Aga Village culture. (Original Balinese people that came during Hindu Prehistoric era). Tenganan Village has long been a favorite tourist destination.
  • After lunch we will depart along the South Eastern coast to Klungkung.
  • We will make a stop at Goa Lawa. This place is a sacred bat cave and it is one of Bali’s most sacred temple. It is believed to have underground connection with Besakih temple.
  • In Klungklung, we will also visit former Royal Courts of Justice known as Kertagosa. You will find traditional painting at the ceiling of this building featuring Wayang style painting depicting battle of good versus evil.
  • We have now reached the end of our trip and we will drive you to your selected southern beach hotel in Bali or straight to Denpasar airport.
