Itinerary (L)

  • Our guide will pick you up at hotel
  • We’re heading to Klungkung regency and make first stop at Kerta Gosa located within the ruin of the ancient kingdom of Klungkung.
  • A state judicial court, Kerta Gosa sits in the middle of a pond. Balinese statues line the bridge leading to the building. On the roof, traditional painting style of Kamasan (a village in Klungkung) tells various karmic stories.
  • Then, we’ll pay a visit to Pura Goa Lawah, another famous place of interest in Klungkung.
  • Also named Bat Cave, Goa Lawah temple was built around a cave opening inhabited by large group of bats. The temple is located just across Goa Lawah beach with a distant view of Nusa Penida island.
  • It’s lunch time and we’ll take you to Candidasa beach to eat at one of its seaside restaurants.
  • Candidasa is a laid back beach which becomes a good alternative to the hedonistic Kuta beach.
  • You have time to enjoy the beach after the meal.
  • Let’s continue the trip to Tenganan village, 5 km north of Candidasa beach.
  • Tenganan is a traditional village of Bali Aga, the original Balinese people.
  • Tenganese people still hold the rules of ancient Balinese with their home their designed in very traditional way. This village is indeed a great place to get deeper insight into the essence of early Balinese life.
  • Spend as many as time you want to walk around and observe the village and its people. Tenganan is famous for its double ikat textiles that you may buy for souvenir.
  • In the late afternoon, we’ll take you back to hotel.
