Jogja is a very famous city in Central Java. On the surface, Jogja is well known for the many temples found in the city. It houses many temples, some built as early as 8th century. The Prambanan or Roro Jonggrang temple for example, is the largest Hindu temple in Indonesia and one of the biggest ins Southeast Asia and also labeled as one of UNESCO World Heritage spot.

But there’s one particular temple that has also gained recognition from the UNESCO. You might have heard of it, the temple is called the Borobudur temple. One will wonder how such complicated structures were built in the 8th century. In total, the temple was built from total of 2 millions sculpted volcanic rocks that interlock each other.

This trip will be exciting and full of wonder as we bring you for a nature sightseeing on top of Mt. Merapi. Unlike other mountain exploration, here in Mt. Merapi, you will have chance for a cycling activity. And let’s not forget another famous spot called Dieng Plateau where you can find Telaga Warna Lake – well known for its unique emerald green water.

It will not be just sightseeing, we will also take you to the Ramayana Prambanan Ballet show. The ballet show tells the story of a legendary epic story, presented in series of graceful dance movements, accompanied by gamelan music – an orchestra of traditional Javanese instruments.

Jogja is famous – yes. But there’s another side of Jogja that appeals even to local Indonesians. Many envy the atmosphere this city has. In Jogja, the environment, the culture, the way the city runs, is somehow different from other cities in Java. We’re pretty sure you will feel the same way too. Last but not least, let’s not forget Malioboro Road where you can shop from many stalls found on the side of streets.
