KEP - 01

Kalimatan is definitely the best place to experience real Indonesian wildlife and intact jungle. More than half area of the island is covered with forest canopy where black watered river intertwines with low lying swamp to create impenetrable landscape. Endemic primates greatly vary. The long nosed Proboscis monkey is probably the most unique but other primates like Bornean orangutan, macaque, baboon and gibbon are absolutely precious too. And to enjoy all the nature highlights, the best place to go is Tanjung Puting National Park.

This package offers a great chance to explore all the wild beauty. We’ll take you to the park and sail it around on Klotok (Kalimantan traditional wooden boat). As we want to give you the best experience of the wildlife, you will even be staying on the houseboat for most of the trip time. Absorb the forest fresh air, discover the rich vegetation of the jungle and interact with all of the endangered primates. As night falls, feel the openness that you can clearly see Milky Way just above your head.

We also combine this package with interesting Dayak culture tour in two inland villages. Discover the traditional longhouse where five to six Dayak families live together. Get close with the people and learn about their culture and tradition. One dark story of the tribe that must catch your attention is the head hunting tradition. Find out whether it still exists or not.

This package is the best choice for those who love nature, culture and adventure. Please find the complete itinerary below for the details:
