BALI CULTURE AND VILLAGE (6D/5N)

BEP - 08

Bali is every one’s dream island. With limitless options of must-see destinations, holiday mood is strong here. Every corner is worth a tour whether the shore, up the mountain top or down the forested valley.

In this weeklong tour, we promise you a journey across the island’s most popular areas. A trip to nature is in the opening. You’ll stay in laid-back village of Sidemen, a region where rice terraces surpass the number of houses. Spend your morning exploring the entire paddy field. Walk along the back roads and down the grassy locally-used path between the terraces or along the irrigation channels.

You’ll be exposed to temples and unique communal activities each day during this extensive trip. Temples that we are visiting are of course the most popular and important in Bali. Pura Goa Lawah is one of them. It’s built in front of a cave opening and decorated with several bat statues, hence it’s also popular as Bat Cave temple. The Besakih mother temple follows before we pay a visit at the offshore Tanah Lot temple to witness its phenomenal sunset.

Secret temples of Gunung Kawi and Kehen are also included. They are all hidden in countryside that requires a soft, panoramic trekking to get there. You’ll walk along an off the beaten path under a lush tropical forest, cross pristine river valley and even walk through local flower and fruit plantations. But, as you discover the site, you know the effort is worth it.

Traveling means learning new culture, especially when your destination is Bali. Visiting the Bali Aga traditional village of Tenganan, you’ll experience the real sense of Balinese. Everything is so quaint here with wooden houses and traditional clad villagers. We’re sure this place will satisfy your expectation of seeing the essence of this “Island of Gods.”
