The Legendary Beach of Bali

Before Bali becomes this popular, Kuta is a laidback beach with a small fishing village. There was only one hotel there and the coast was still empty. It’s only sailing boats that docked at the shore after a long fishing across the ocean.

It’s then followed by the rise of various shopping complex and nightlife center. Since then, Kuta beach is no longer quiet. Since then, Kuta beach becomes one of the busiest places in Bali.

Above all, the most enchanting from Kuta beach is its glamorous nightlife. It starts late, however – nearly midnight and will last until early hours. Along the road, mix of music is heard from the various entertainment venues. Bars, pubs and clubs feature their own DJs and guest performances. Restaurants and café are also abundant and have live music as well.

Kuta beach is situated on the west coast of Bali’s small isthmus. Its location is strategic – only 20 minute drive from the island’s international airport. And from resort area in Legian and Seminyak, it’s only a short walk. Thus, transport is no matter at all to get to this spot.
